Shaolin Zheng: Co-Founder and CTO
Shaolin Zheng is the co-founder of NextBillion.ai. He graduated from the Beijing University of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He worked as an Engineering Manager at the Software Engineering Center Chinese Academy of Science. Shaolin was a founding member and Director of Engineering for China Music Corporation. He was also a co-founder and CTO of Youche which is a hitch platform and was and was responsible for the company’s technology development. It was later acquired by Grab in 2015. Shaolin before founding NextBillion.ai, worked as the head of the Beijing R&D Centre and Head of Engineering GEO/ food/ wheels at Grab where he helped Grab to build a strong and intellectual engineering team. Shaolin has also taken over the R&D work of many important business verticals of Grab.
In the year 2020, along with his co-founders Ajay Bulusu and Gaurav Bubna, Shaolin founded NextBillion.ai. It is an ML- and AI-driven platform that redefines how enterprises interact with maps, navigation, and local-based services.
